The Maestrini CR Brass M/M Reducing Nipple is a precision marine fitting designed to join two male-threaded pipes of differing diameters. Crafted from corrosion-resistant CR Brass (CW602N / DZR), this reducing nipple is ideal for harsh saltwater environments because it effectively resists dezincification.Used in bilge systems, cooling circuits, or fresh water plumbing, this component provides a compact and secure solution for adapting pipe sizes without the need for additional couplings. With its straight inline configuration, it fits neatly into piping runs with minimal pressure loss.FeaturesCR Brass (CW602N / DZR) material – offers excellent corrosion resistance in marine settingsStraight reducing nipple design – transitions from larger to smaller male thread sizes in one pieceWide size options – available in multiple combinations of male BSP/BSPT thread sizesCompact structure – optimal for tight installations and minimal pipe run adjustmentReliable sealing – precision machining ensures tight fits with standard sealants or PTFE tapeSpecificationsMaterial: CR Brass / DZR (CW602N alloy)Type: M/M Reducing Nipple (male to male)Thread Options: Multiple male BSP/BSPT sizesApplication: Marine plumbing lines, bilge systems, cooling circuitsMarine Suitability: Suitable for saltwater and freshwater use, resistant to dezincificationDownloadTechnical Article – DZR Fittings .input-wrapper a { text-decoration: none; / Removes underline / background-color: transparent; / Ensures no background color / } .input-wrapper a:hover { text-decoration: underline; / Adds underline on hover / background-color: transparent !important; / Removes grey highlight / }
