Lycra-covered thigh straps for sit-on-top kayaking. These thigh leg strap pads are designed to sit on the inside part of your thighs, allowing your legs to have greater contact with the kayak and give a soft cushioned surface to get purchase against. This allows you to get greater control of your kayak. A real advantage when paddling your sit-on-top in choppy / surf conditions. When correctly fitted, thigh pads provide a great point of contact with your kayak, so that you feel like a part of it rather than just sitting on it. This contact with the boat adds more control when paddling and manoeuvring/tilting.When adjusting to the correct place, you need to aim for as much body contact as possible with the pad. The soft fabric-covered cushioned pad is extra thick for greater comfort, and the pads are specially contoured for a great fit.Perfect for giving an extra level of support and control they are quickly and easily attached by the brass snap hooks to fittings at the front and the rear of a sit-on-top kayak deck. They can be swiftly adjusted by the sliding webbing straps, which tighten/loosen to ensure a secure fixed point fitment.Thigh pads have the added benefit of making it easier to engage your core muscles when paddling, and can make paddling more comfortable for people with bad backsFeaturesSoft foam pads with fully adjustable strapsWill fit most sit-on topsFitted with solid brass bucklesFor added comfort and control when paddlingColour: BlackSpecificationsMaterial:Foam padding with lycra coverStraps:Adjustable webbing strapsHardware:Brass buckles and snap hooksCompatibility:Most sit-on-top kayaksColour:BlackWeight: 3.2kgDimensions: 61 12 35cm
